“After 20 plus years as a public servant and a lawyer, I recognize the modern threats to our children and families. I want to take my commitment to keeping families safe and secure to the Missouri Attorney General's office.” Margaret is in her third term in the Missouri House of Representatives. Her expertise on the state budget led to her appointment as the ranking Democrat on the House Budget Committee. Her other committee assignments include: Appropriations for Health, Mental Health, and Social Services; Elections; and Joint Committee on Government Accountability. Margaret brought an uncommon work ethic to the legislative process. Her dedication and leadership in taking on difficult legislative tasks and getting action stood out. The Attorney General is often described as the "people's lawyer." Margaret's career path to this office seems a natural fit given her years of volunteer, legal and legislative work serving people. Margaret's experience, energy, legislative record of achievement, and her reputation as one who can get the job done is the kind of person Missouri needs as our state's Attorney General. To learn more visit Margaret’s website. Mail Contributions to: Margaret Donnelly for Attorney General PO Box 16050 St. Louis, MO 63105

House Minority Leader Jeff Harris led Democrats in the Missouri House to their first increase in legislative seats since 1986 and their largest increase since 1978. Jeff, 42, is a rising star of Missouri politics. As House Minority Leader, he has led the opposition to Governor Matt Blunt and his slashing of health care for more than 100,000 Missourians. A native Missourian, Jeff has represented part of his hometown of Columbia in the Missouri House since 2002 winning election with two-thirds of the vote. In 2006, Jeff received 73% of the votes cast, perhaps the highest percentage of any House Democrat in Missouri. Before being elected to the House, Jeff served as an Assistant Missouri Attorney General working with Attorney General Jay Nixon. He also worked as a field organizer on Congressman Dick Gephardt's 1988 presidential campaign. Jeff and his wife Katie live in Columbia, where Jeff is a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Elks Club and the Missouri United Methodist Church. Jeff also actively practices law and is a member of the Missouri Kidney Program Advisory Council. Their daughter Grace Virginia was born in September. To learn more visit Jeff’s website.
